One of the major players, in this approaching power grab that’s to come, is called the beast, and the other, the false prophet – probably not unlike elitists in our country, who think they know better than we do about how to live our own lives and how to worship – so they’re going to tell us. We’re told that these two will be in a massive struggle with other mega-powers. The Bible shows us that entire nations will authority to these higher powers. And the people of these nations will give up their God-given freedom of choice to their governments to obtain merchandise – free stuff – free medical care, free tuition, free food, even free income – and that makes them weak and dependent on government. And that makes them easier to control. We can see this already happening in Europe, Canada, Australia, and increasingly here. I would include Russia and Eastern Europe, but they don’t have any freedom and they didn’t get any free stuff for it.

I was listening to a report about the single-payer, government-controlled healthcare system in Great Britain. People are dying while they wait for a doctor. The lines are long. The system refuses expensive drugs to people who need them. It isn’t about lives. It’s about money. If the person offers to pay for the drugs themselves, they’re rejected from the entire system. Do you know how that happened? Well, that’s what you get when you follow Karl Marx. Some don’t see anything wrong with free stuff, but those people probably don’t know who Karl Marx is, or what happens in the end when you follow his plan.

The Bible also tell us that as this huge power bloc begins to coalesce, that the whole movement is being orchestrated by the devil, unknown by the elitists. They don’t even believe in him. To shift the status quo and build these power blocs, the nations must be destabilized. Can you think of any places of destabilization in the world today? If you know anything about the world today, Venezuela…a leftist leader has taken over there, and he’s killed over a hundred people just recently, trying to maintain control of his…he was elected, but now he’s just taken control. That’s what they do! Europe, increasingly, is falling into this same trap. Africa…where Christians are being butchered by the tens of thousands. Eastern Asia and all of North America…destabilization. Think all the things that have happened just since Donald Trump was elected. Do you know one reason the Mexicans think it’s unfair of us to require them to build a wall on our southern border? Well, it’s because they have had to build a wall on their southern border and the Central Americans didn’t pay for it. Chaos is everywhere.

Why is hysteria and chaos necessary? Well, it makes the inhabitants susceptible to the agendas of the elitists and to Satan. You know, he is the author of confusion. It’s in these intense periods of destabilization that governments fall and dictators take control. To create chaos and hysteria and weakness, the families and children of all nations have come under attack. You have to destabilize the family – weaken it – before governments can fall. Families know about loyalty and sticking together and following authority. And they can’t have that if they’re going to take over. We can see the results in our country alone.

Child depression, anxiety and suicide continue to increase at an alarming rate all over the world. Last year, 4,000 children, between the ages of ten and fourteen, committed suicide in the United States. Can we even grasp that?

I know a man, who, when he was six, overheard his stepfather say to his mother, “If you don’t want him, he’s worth $40,000.” Think about that. What would that do to a six-year-old? Further, child abuse, in many cases, has become more than simply beating children or neglecting them, but instead, hideous drug-related atrocities committed by parents against their own children.

In our community, not far from where Elaine and I live, a mother murdered her own nine-year-old daughter. I’ll spare you the details, but it was so horrific that even those people who worked with first-responders were sometimes traumatized from hearing the details.

So we can see evil seeping into every area of life – the family, the schools, the government – not just here, but all over the whole world. Paul prophesied to Timothy that, before the end, evil men would grow worse and worse. And God said He would give us the worst of these to be our leaders. He also says that it’s our fault, because we like what these people offer us – free stuff. So, to use a popular word today, the public is in collusion with the globalists, because they bribe us with free stuff.

By the way, let me say this, so you don’t get the wrong idea. In our present form of government, I’m for government assistance for those who truly need it to survive. And that’s because I don’t see that the rest of us are giving enough to meet the need on our own. We’re relying on the government – just another way for us to be controlled by them. I also believe that how we help the poor in this nation is humiliating, degrading, weakening and destabilizing. It’s designed to keep people dependent, instead of lifting them up and helping them to become independent. You know, there’s been so much research done about the benefits of work psychologically. People are happy people when they’re working.

There’s a simple way to help those who need help and inspire those who can become independent. Most fifth-graders can figure it out, but our leaders don’t want it that way. That want to control us.

There was a newspaper reporter, named Charlie Reese, who wrote an article for his final column, after forty years of reporting in the news in the United States. The title was 545 versus 300,000,000. The point was, that the 545 elected officials in the US government control everything. If we have too big of a national debt, it’s because they want it that way. If we go to war, it’s because they want it that way. If they have their own insurance, their own insider trading rules, their own salaries for life, if it’s legal for them to take money from big businesses and prostitute themselves for their campaigns and personal gain, it’s because they like it that way. Have you ever heard of any of them wanting to do away with their insurance plan while ours melts down? I’ve heard some of them blame lobbyists, but no lobbyist can force a congressman to take a bribe. Have you seen any in the Senate put forth legislation imposing term limits? No, they’re not going to do that – not unless they’re forced to it by us. And we won’t, because we like the free stuff they give us. And, while they play this hypocritical game, they grow rich off the rest of us. And that’s why they want to keep us weak and dependent. The results are all around us – destruction of the family, angry people, disenchanted with family, life, the nation – rioting. Notice too, it’s like this all over, not just in the US. This is a  phenomenon seen in every western nation, and many others. So, as we watch, conditions inexorably spiral down to the assemblage of great power blocs in the Valley of Megiddo for a great battle, called the Battle of Armageddon, on the great day of God Almighty when Jesus returns.

What’s it going to be like when he gets here? What’s going to happen? We are celebrating this festival to commemorate that time, so let’s be interested in about what it’s going to look like when it arrives. So now we get to the title of this presentation, The First 100 Days. Historically, in the US, we always evaluate our Presidents by looking at their record after the first 100 days. I thought it might be encouraging to read some of the prophecies about what Jesus will accomplish in His first 100 days.

Now, two points here: None of us have ever seen anything like it, and, because it is what we have been longing and praying and crying for, we are going to love it. So, let’s take a look. When we think about Christ returning to the planet, what we’re really looking at is the redemption – a buying back. Jesus gave His own blood to buy us all back from sin and from the devil. In the beginning, the earth was once a beautiful place – a Garden of Eden. The two residents had a perfect relationship with God. Everything was great! When Christ returns, because of what we’ve done and what the devil has done, it’s going to be a smoking, toxic hulk. Most of the people will have died. In preparing this today, I looked at the promises about what He will do, trying to sum them up. And the words that came to my mind are, He’s going to “make the planet great again.” How’s He going to do this? Well, you know, it’s all laid out there in the pages of the Bible.

We’re told that when the trumpet sounds, two things will happen at the same time. Christ is going to come to the earth and the saints are going to be resurrected. Hopefully, you and I will be in that group. I imagine for myself somewhat like this: Awakened by a really loud noise – “What’s that noise?” – and then I will notice that I feel really great, and I’ll think, “At last! A good night’s sleep!” and “Hey, I’m flying! Oh right…meet Christ in the air!” So, our first effort will to be to fight with Christ against the forces of evil, we’re told. Does that sound crazy or implausible – people that just woke up from being a dead human one instant to being an eternal warrior of God the next? How will we know what to do? What about training? Well, the thing we need to remember here is, training, by that time, will already have been completed. And how will we know what to do? Well, we’re learning about that here at this festival right now. We will all know whose side we’re on. We’ll all know what the goal of the day is. We already know how it’s going to come out. And we know what we’re supposed to do and we’ll be equipped for the task.

Check this out – Psalm 149:4:

Psalms 149:4 – The LORD takes pleasure in His people, and He adorns the humble with salvation. That will have just happened to us. So the context here is, when we receive our salvation, right? Let the godly exalt in glory. Let them sing for joy on their beds. So we’re going to be supremely happy about our glorious new state, but why beds? Well, is it not true that we were just awakened?

Now, I know that this prophecy is at least dual. It’s probably talking about something else as well. But, it fits right here. So the first thing that happens is the resurrection of God’s team and the installation of the saints. Let’s continue reading in verse 6.

V-6 – Let the high praises of God be in their throats, and two-edged swords in their hands – so this happens at the same time. Why? 7: to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the people, to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, to execute the judgment written. This is honor for all His godly ones. Praise the LORD! 

Now, you’ll notice that when I said, “The first thing that’s going to happen is, He’s going to install His team.” I didn’t say, “Pick the team,” because they’re already picked. You can read in Ezekiel 34:23, that David is going to be over all Israel. That’s a done deal already. And each apostle – Matthew 19:28 – is going to be over a tribe. So the twelve apostles will work right under David. And then there’s another scripture – Matthew 19:29.

Matthew 19:29 – Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or land for My name’s sake will receive a hundred-fold and will inherit eternal life – not just eternal life, but a hundred-fold.

On the first day of the 100 days, Christ puts His cabinet and other staff members into place – day one! Right? So this is first of seven points I have for you today: He’s installing His leadership team.

Now, I tried to figure out in what order these things would come, and a lot of it is simultaneous, but there’s sort of a flow to it here. So, he installs His leadership team and then he completely squashes the threat of global destruction. Not bad for day one. Right?

You know, the value of Megiddo – we saw the picture – is very large. And yet it says that, in that valley, blood will run as deep as up to the horses’ bridles. There’s going to be a lot of people in that battle, and they’re all going to die.

What’s next? The battle of Armageddon happens. We saw that already. And what’s happening there? Revelation 11:18:

Revelation 11:18 – The nations raged, but Your wrath came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants – the prophets and saints – and those who fear Your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth. Well, who did that? Well, all the elitists who wanted to control everybody. So the battle of Armageddon gets rid of them. They’re out of the picture right there – “destroy those who destroy the earth.”

What would you call this point? Well, He’s “draining the swamp” – the swamp of the whole world. All terrorists, and all those who wanted to control us and grow rich off our efforts…gone in a heartbeat! Well, that’s the second element of swamp draining. Read this with me:

Revelation 20:1 – Then I saw an angel come down from heaven, holding in his hand the keys to the bottomless pit…. 

See, here’s the seat of the problem – the devil. Have you ever wondered who this angel is who restrains Satan? I have. I don’t have an answer for it – didn’t have an answer for it for the longest time – maybe not even yet – but I have a sneaking suspicion, because I learned something new – new to me – this year. Let’s look in Isaiah 14:14. This is where God quotes Lucifer and tells us what he was thinking when he tried to throw God off His throne a long time ago.

Isaiah 14:14 – I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, and I will be like the Most High. This is what Lucifer said, just before he ascended to heaven to try to take God’s place – I’ll be like the Most High. 

Now, I think the angel who binds Satan, by God’s orders, is Michael. Do you know what that name means ancient Hebrew? It’s a question. It means, “Who is like God?” So, we have a being who thinks he will be like God and another one, whose name means, “Who is like God?” In other words – nobody. So the answer to the question his name contains is – he is speaking to the devil – “not you.” So maybe he would be the perfect one to send to give Satan his due – for all the trouble he has caused on the earth. Whether he be the one or not, I’m not really sure, but I like to think so. What does he do?

V-2 – He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him in the pit and shut it up and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. 

All good and well so far. But, there are other swamp dwellers yet to be dealt with. In Isaiah 29:19, it tells us:

Isaiah 29:19 – The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the LORD, and the poor among mankind shall exult in the Holy One of Israel. Why? For the ruthless shall come to nothing, and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off. 

So, the third element of swamp draining is the elimination of deep-state resistance. Did you know that? It’s interesting – how it works.

The third thing that we’re told about can be found in Hosea 6:1.

Hosea 6:1 – Come, let us return to the LORD, for He has torn us, that He may heal us. He has struck us down, and He will bind us up. We’re talking about healthcare here, right?

Isaiah 35:

Isaiah 35:5 – Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. 

You know, we can’t do that today very well. We can’t help blind people see. And we’re not really good at helping lame people rise up. And, if somebody’s mute, that’s very hard to treat. But this is the most amazing healthcare ever! No co-pays. No forms to fill out. No drugs, radiation, chemo or surgery – just healing of body and mind – and not just the body, but the whole world – the toxic environment – is going to be cleaned up. Several places in the Bible tells us of a river that starts as a trickle from under the throne in God’s temple. The river gets bigger and bigger as it flows out in all directions. Wherever this river flows, the water, the life forms, the land itself is healed. It’s not just about healthcare. It’s also real, non-political environmental recovery and protection.

Let’s look at the fourth element that comes then. There are going to be economic reforms that take place in the whole world. Two elements here: One is tax reform – the first element of this economic recovery. I keep hearing about this new idea for taxes among some of the conservatives – a flat tax. It’s so funny. They talk about it like it’s a new idea – no exemptions, no loopholes, the same percentage for everybody – rich and poor alike. I mean, does that sound familiar? Most people have no idea how much less everything would cost if we didn’t have taxes compounded on taxes. Your income is taxed, but so is everything everyone buys. If you buy a loaf of bread, how much less would it cost if the farmer, the baker, the grocer did not all have to pay taxes on their efforts to make it? How much less would it cost to produce that loaf if all the employees along the way didn’t have to pay taxes on their income? They could work for less and buy more bread themselves. At our inflated rates, a loaf of bread could cost a nickel. God’s tax

mean, those seem to be the two extremes we have to choose from these days – but for everybody – for all alike.

The second part of economic reform we could call “jobs, jobs, jobs.” In Isaiah 30:23:

Isaiah 30:23 – And He will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread – the produce of the ground – which will be rich and plenteous. In that day, your livestock will graze in large pastures, and the oxen and donkeys that work the ground will eat seasoned fodder, which has been winnowed with shovel and fork. 

And then in verse 26:

V-26 – Moreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day when the LORD binds up the brokenness of His people, and heals the wounds inflicted by His blow. 

So there is another reason, also, there will be lots of work for everybody. And that has to do with the fifth thing Jesus will do when He returns. And that is rebuilding the infrastructure. In Isaiah 35, we can read:

Isaiah 35:6 – the waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. The burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water. 

And then in 58:12:

Isaiah 58:12 – Your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt. You shall raise up the foundations of many generations, and you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in. 

So a huge infrastructure restoration – you know, the “foundations of many generations.” That’s a lot of work! Highways will be rebuilt. And that has to do with our sixth point – a highway system, the likes of which we have never seen. In Isaiah 35, it says:

Isaiah 35:8 – And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way. Even if they are fools, they shall not go astray. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast come upon it. They shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there. And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing. So, this is a highway that’s built so that people can return to Zion. And it’s going to be done very soon after Christ returns. And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing. Everlasting joy shall be upon their heads, and they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. 

Have you ever seen a highway system like that? In it, all roads lead to God. So that’s the sixth thing on our list today – the reestablishment of true religion all over the planet. The highway – I’m sure there’ll be a real highway – people are going to need it to go to Jerusalem – but this is also a metaphor for the right way being shown to people, so they’ll know which way to go to get to God. In this system, all roads lead to God. The sixth thing on our list, then, is the reestablishment of true religion all over the planet.

Look with me in Hebrews 8.

Hebrews 8:11 – They shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. Wow! No need for evangelism, except to kids. Right? For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more. And we will all know and worship the same God.

When we all know God and we’re all on the same page with Him, guess what’s going to happen. World peace will break out. That’s our seventh point – planetary peace through the unity in Jesus Christ. And you know, this one, we saved the best for last. And we know it’s going to come on more slowly…the effort starts right away, but it’s going to take a while for this to happen. So this religious unity is what drives the whole thing. It all comes from God.

In our time on earth, humanity proved that it didn’t know what to do. And you can see that we’re working ourselves today into a real mess. We’ve painted ourselves into a corner. But God knows what to do. And, when we follow Him, instead of following the elitists, begging for free stuff, world peace will break out.

Isaiah 2:2 – It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills, and all people shall flow to it. In Bible code, mountain is a government. A hill is a government. It’s just that a bigger mountain has more power. And many nations shall come, and say, “Let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, unto to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. So this is a planet-wide, voluntary turning to God. You know, we can’t imagine how that’s going to work in this life, because we just don’t see it happening much. But this is a planet-wide, voluntary turning to God – the North Koreans, the Muslims, all the people in the Middle East. He shall judge between many people, and shall decide disputes for strong nations far away. And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. 

So, of all the horrific things that have happened on the planet, war has to be the worst one of them all. Think of all the energy the nations of the world today spend on military. If we didn’t have to spend money on military, just think of the things that we could do. When they don’t have to do that, amazing things are going to start to happen to the planetary economy.

Micah 4:4 – But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree – everybody’s going to have property. And they’re going to have property that produces income. No one shall make them afraid, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it. 

We’re not going to have to worry about getting under our desks and putting our hands over our necks because we’re afraid we’re going to be obliterated in a flash of heat. That’s all going to be history. We’re not going to have to worry about anybody an ICBM with a thermal-nuclear device on it on one of our cities.

I sometimes deal with couples who are at war with each other. They’re so busy attacking and defending themselves, they have no energy to solve disputes. When these couples start to insult each other, I help them to start focusing on what would work for both of them. What a concept! Not winning, but what would work for both of them. But, before they can ever do that, they have to learn how to do three things.

One, they have to believe that, if it won’t work for both, then it won’t work for either one. That’s true, right? The loser always gets resentful. So let’s not have any losers. Let’s figure out what works best for everybody.

They have to make sure they understand the other person’s point of view completely. That’s the second thing. You know, men and women are so different, it’s really hard to understand what they mean. We think we know what they mean, but we don’t. And that goes for nations, too. Everybody has different cultures, different languages. It’s really hard to understand somebody of another culture, because they’re different. We think we know because we know how we think, but that’s not it.

And the third one is, they have talk to the other person about the problem in such a way that it doesn’t feel like an attack, but instead, an offer to find a better way. You know, that’s the issue that we have to deal with, too. We’re the biggest strongest nation, and so when we approach another nation about something that they’re doing that we don’t like, they automatically assume we’re going to go negative on them. And, most of the time, we do. I mean, there’s a reason why all the nations hate us so much. And most of it is of our own doing.

So, if we would start doing that – and I’ve seen this in people’s relationships in marriage – when people start looking for a solution – because they believe there has to be a solution for things to work – if they understand what the other person’s point of view is completely, if they talk to the other person without causing them to be defensive, then, things start to happen. When we don’t defend ourselves, there is energy to problem solve. That’s what’s going to happen. When we don’t have to defend ourselves to nations of the world, there’s energy to problem solve. And God is going to help them to do that. It says that He’s going to judge between nations in their disputes.

So that’s going to happen all over the planet under Christ’s government. Instead of spending resources on defense and conquest, the peoples and nations will focus on loving each other and producing good things to share. And it’s going to be an explosion of creativity and cooperation that will lift everyone up, and it will blow everybody’s minds. It’s going to be so good! It’s going to be a time of great plenty and satisfaction and confidence and security. Just mind blowing to think about it, isn’t it? Some people believe our planet is in such bad shape that it destroys their faith in God – you know, why would God allow this to happen?

But we have come here to this festival to celebrate what God is going to do when Christ returns. We remember what God says He will do when He comes back, don’t we? And we rehearse our role as leaders in His Kingdom while we’re here, don’t we? So, our faith is increased because we keep this Feast.

The Bible also tells us that God is very well aware of those who sigh and cry for the present abominations in Israel, who long for His return. All of us – Jesus included – are all waiting together for God the Father to just give the word. We have waited patiently while our senses are assaulted daily by the atrocities committed in a godless world. We have suffered long and along with the world while we wait. And so, God has, lest we become impatient or discouraged, inspired the man, John, to record the words of Jesus Himself about His own return. It’s in Revelation 22:20.

Revelation 22:20 – He who testifies to these things says, “Surely, I am coming soon.” And then John said, “Amen.” And when He comes back, He’s going to make incredible changes in His first 100 days.

And so, we all wait expectantly, and we all pray urgently the same short prayer that John prayed: “Come Lord Jesus.”
